Biography

Yemurai Rabvukwa is a Senior Cybersecurity Associate (Former Lloyds Banking group employee), Keynote Speaker, and Careers Strategist. With a First-Class Chemistry degree from the University of Liverpool, she took a non-traditional path into cybersecurity—an experience that now fuels her mission to redefine career success, navigate imposter syndrome, and address the digital skills gap.

Recognised for her impact, Yemurai is a proud recipient of the TechWomen100 Award, and has collaborated with organisations such as the Civil Service, interviewed the VP of Environmental Policy and Social Initiatives at Apple, hosted the Cloud and Cyber Expo in London, and spoken at the Google Developers Group X UCL ‘Redefine Possible’ International Women’s Day event—proof that unconventional paths can lead to extraordinary success.

Despite her achievements, Yemurai has grappled with imposter syndrome—particularly during career transitions and as she progressed into senior roles. Faced with questions like “Do I really belong here?” and “Am I a fraud?”, she chose to confront these thoughts head-on. This journey led to the creation of her ACT Framework, designed to tame the “imposter monster” and help individuals face FEAR with confidence.

Her keynote is known for its raw honesty, addressing the often-overlooked reality that AI is intensifying feelings of inadequacy and self-doubt across industries.

"Yemurai spoke as part of a panel at the annual UCAS Teachers and Advisers Conference in February 2025 in front of an audience of over 150 guests. The panel were discussing the future of skills in the UK, and how teachers can best advise their students in the classroom. I was responsible for organising and chairing the panel on the day, and Yemurai was an excellent person to work with throughout the process. As well as being professional and diligent during the planning of the panel, Yemurai was a stand out speaker on the day, and spoke with knowledge, authority and passion about engaging young people in great careers education. Yemurai was articulate and engaging, and dealt with questions from the guests and me with great confidence, and the feedback from the audience was overwhelmingly positive, saying that they learned practical and inspiring ways to guide their students. I recommend Yemurai as a speaker at events, panel sessions, webinars and other speaking engagements, based on her knowledge of STEM careers, engaging and guiding young people, and her ability to speak so articulately and clearly in front of an audience. Yemurai is an absolute superstar, and we'll be asking her back to join us for future speaking opportunities. Thanks Yemurai!" Pete Milsom, Partnerships Manager Partnerships Manager UCAS
