Jo Fairley is a serial entrepreneur, best known for creating the Green & Black’s brand in 1991, which she ran with her husband and which was bought by Cadbury’s in 2005, becoming a global ethical name.
The world’s first organic chocolate and the first-ever product to carry the UK Fairtrade Mark, Green & Black’s is approaching a $100 million a year brand, where Jo remains a ‘Chocolate Ambassador’.
A multi-award-winning author & journalist, Jo is also author of bestselling series of books on beauty and wellbeing, The Beauty Bible selling, and is a regular columnist, feature-writer and journalist for the world’s leading magazines. Jo is in demand as a brand consultant, alongside her own ventures which have included an organic bakery and natural food store and a nine-room wellbeing centre in her home town of Hastings.
