Bianca Lopes, an investor, business builder, economist, and identity expert, is dedicated to driving meaningful impact through technology and business. She has led significant identity projects and played a pivotal role in transforming data to unlock financial and social value. Her central focus lies in rewiring finance on a global scale, harnessing the potential of digital identities, ethics, and web3 technology. She is impassioned by the challenge of navigating competing values in the realms of data, information, and technology.

Over the course of her career, Bianca Lopes has had the privilege of supporting over 40 financial institutions and 8 governments, reshaping and reimagining their technological approaches in relation to identity and innovation. Managing an international speaking calendar, she imparts her knowledge to business leaders, governments, and the public, shedding light on the profound impact of data, privacy, and the ongoing opportunities in the world of finance.

Bianca’s diverse background, born in Brazil, educated in Canada, and currently residing in Denmark, has afforded her fluency in multiple languages and a deep appreciation for cultural diversity. Her experiences span the spectrum of economic and digital development, shaping her into a curious, well-informed individual with a global perspective.

One of her passions involves collaborating with UNESCO’s International Research Center for Artificial Intelligence and ESG to foster cooperation among emerging brands, building a vibrant and ethical AI ecosystem. As both an entrepreneur and a lifelong learner, she eagerly anticipates the opportunity to connect with others and hear their unique stories.

In addition to her extensive contributions, Bianca Lopes has co-authored the book “Brasil Fintech,” released in 2021. This book provides a comprehensive examination of the dynamic Brazilian fintech ecosystem, featuring interviews with key founders and local players who drive fintech innovation, contributing significantly to the Brazilian economy.
