Theresa Zabell is a two-time Olympic Champion and one of Europe’s leading voices in strategic leadership, sustainability and decision-making in times of uncertainty.

The only Spanish woman to win two Olympic gold medals, she has transformed the demands of elite performance into a leadership philosophy applicable to business, institutions and life: clarity of direction, resilience under pressure, adaptability to change and decisive action in uncertainty.

Following her sporting career, Theresa built a distinguished institutional andgovernance trajectory. She served as a Member of the European Parliament,where she played a key role in integrating sport into the EU Treaty; as First Vice President of the Spanish Olympic Committee; and as an InternationalConsultant to UNESCO. This experience has positioned her at the highest decision-making levels, navigating complex, multicultural and high-stakes environments.

She is the founder and for more than 25 years, she has led Fundación Ecomar, a pioneering organization in marine sustainability. Through education and action, the foundation has impacted more than 2.5 million people across 30+ countries, delivering measurable and long- term environmental results.

Today, Theresa advises companies, executives and boards on leadership, sustainability and ESG, and is an international keynote speaker. Through her proprietary framework, The Power of the Five Rings TM, she translates Olympic performance principles and lessons from the ocean into practical tools for organizations facing disruption, helping leaders navigate change,make better decisions and turn uncertainty into opportunity.
