Pete Reed OBE, won gold and became Olympic Champion in rowing at three consecutive Olympic Games – Beijing, London and Rio. He also has five World Championships and is one of our top ever rowers.

He retired from rowing in 2018 to return to his career as a Royal Navy officer. In 2019 Pete Reed suffered a spinal stroke causing paralysis below his chest. He has since used his Royal Navy training and Olympic experience to continue to achieve as much as possible within his changed life circumstances and to help others to do the same.

He speaks openly about his unique insight into overcoming adversity and trauma having learned that resilience is trainable for everyone. He is a powerfully inspirational speaker. Pete is a happily married family man with a young son.
