Paul Craven founded Paul Craven Partners in 2014 with the specific aim to promote Behavioural Economics in business, believing that a better understanding of psychology – how real people make real decisions in the real world – provides a strong competitive advantage to those firms and individuals who embrace it, whether in investment, sales, technology or business more broadly.
Paul is a well-known industry public speaker on Behavioural Economics, and as well as giving keynote talks including at TEDx, offers private consultancy and decision-making workshops.

Paul Craven now works with the investment committees of the Akzo Nobel and British Steel pension funds. He is also on the ‘panel of experts’ for #ogilvychange, the behavioural science unit of the Ogilvy Group.
Paul Craven has an MA (Hons) in History from Cambridge University, is a Freeman of the City of London and is a visiting lecturer at the London Business School.
Outside of work, he is privileged to be a member of the exclusive Magic Circle, meaning that he can offer an extra perspective on how “the mind plays tricks.”
