Biography

Fredrik Haren has spent the last 25 years traveling the world to study human creativity. Known as The Creativity Explorer, he has delivered more than 2,000 speeches in over 75 countries across six continents, inspiring audiences from global CEOs and government leaders to entrepreneurs, educators, and schoolchildren.

Author of ten books – including The Idea Book, listed among “The 100 Best Business Books of All Time” – Fredrik explores the power of ideas and the limitless potential of human imagination. His philosophy, “Humanity to the Power of Ideas,” captures his belief that creativity is the most powerful force for progress.

Fredrik’s journey began with an early fascination for ideas, shaped by a family of teachers and entrepreneurs. He went on to co-found and grow a successful Internet consultancy before devoting his career to understanding and speaking on creativity. Along the way, he has faced challenges and setbacks, which he openly shares to connect authentically with audiences.

A Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), one of only 30 Global Speaking Fellows worldwide, and a recipient of awards such as “Speaker of the Year” in Sweden, Fredrik is recognized for his ability to engage, inspire, and transform perspectives. He has spoken everywhere from world congresses to intimate leadership retreats, from conference halls to trains, boats, and tents – even alongside thinkers like Richard Branson and Seth Godin.

Based in Singapore with strong roots in Sweden, Fredrik balances a truly global life with time for reflection and family. His mission is simple: to explore creativity, share insights from around the world, and help individuals and organizations unlock their full creative potential.
