Dino has brought some of the most high-profile talent with him into the podcasting space, including Emily Maitlis, Dua Lipa and Lily Allen. He created The News Agents for Global and Miss Me? for BBC Sounds.
During his 14 years at the BBC, The Times said Sofos “ushered in a podcasting revolution”. He pioneered original formats, including the BBC’s Brexitcast, Americast and the daily Newscast – that amassed 85 million downloads.
He is also the co-founder of the Crossed Wires podcast festival in Sheffield.
