Cal Leeming is driven by a relentless passion for technology. Leeming’s remarkable journey started at the age of just 10 years old, hacking into computer systems and stealing money as a means of escape from poverty and neglect. He was caught at age 12, making him the youngest child ever to be convicted for hacking.
At age 18, Leeming decided to turn his life around and formed a close friendship with his arresting officer. He was released early from prison and given a chance to directly help his victims and voluntarily give back to the community. He has since gone on to provide training to police forces across the UK and volunteers at schools to help them improve safeguarding and teaching material around cyber crime.
Cal Leeming has been a co-founder of several successful startups, including: PixelMags, the world’s first digital magazine publishing company and Plastc, smart credit card technology.
