…General Sir Adrian Bradshaw gave a hugely thought provoking speech dealing with the primary security issues that the UK and indeed the world faces today. His insightful commentary was both fascinating and disturbing and was delivered to an audience representing the City of London, for which his message was particularly salient. Happily he finished with a highly amusing story drawn from his military career, ensuring that everyone left this historic occasion in good cheer. Events Co-ordinator, Lambeth Palace
The talk by General Sir Adrian Bradshaw, whose last job was Deputy Supreme Allied Command Europe at Mons, was the best I’ve ever heard from a military man. The opening part was wide-ranging geopolitical and in the second part he concentrated on the threat from and our best response to Russia and Islamic Terrorism. But his articulate extempore delivery of very detailed and insightful material was extraordinarily impressive, as indeed was his skill in answering questions afterwards, particularly his subtlety in response to whether he thought the killing of Soleimani was a good thing.
