Subir Chowdhury has been a thought leader in quality and management strategy for more than 20 years.
He is a world authority in quality leadership, strategy and methods and has been hailed by The New York Times as a ‘leading quality expert’, and by Business Week as ‘The Quality Prophet’. In 2011, 2013 and 2015 Chowdhury was named as one of the ’50 Most Influential Management Thinkers in the world’ by the Thinkers50.
Chowdhury has written 14 books including “The Power of Six Sigma” (2001) which was a worldwide best seller and “The Ice Cream Maker” (2006), where he introduced the process improvement methodology called LEO (Listen, Enrich, Optimise). His latest book is “Robust Optimization: World’s Best Practices for Developing Winning Vehicles” (2016).
Subir Chowdhury currently has two fellowships – one at London School of Economics on quality and economics and one at Harvard University on people and process quality.
