"Sarah Porter, an eminent expert on AI, gave a fascinating lecture as part of Canterbury Christ Church University’s Public Lecture series, discussing ‘Mortal Humans, Time Machines and a Future with AI’. Sarah was an eloquent, humorous and insightful speaker, bringing a sense of life and humanity to the world of Artificial Intelligence. Her lecture explored the ever-changing state of AI, providing a distilled overview of the current situation. Sarah emphasised the vital role we all have to play in ensuring AI is used to empower and benefit the whole of society, encouraging us to ask critical questions about policy and decision-making on the global AI scene."

There were far more questions than Sarah had time to answer, which was testament to Sarah’s ability to provoke thought and provide meaningful explanations of complex concepts. In the lead up to the event, both Sarah and her team were responsive, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. We would be delighted to host Sarah again in the future."
