Biography

Rose McGowan worked for years in a strange place called Hollywood and gained recognition as an actress who held lead roles in films such as The Doom Generation, Scream, Jawbreaker, and Planet Terror. She starred on the hit series Charmed, one of the longest-running female-led shows in TV history. Behind the scenes of this famed acting career Rose was honing her skills as a multi-media artist, writer, and thought leader. Rose escaped Hollywood to fight against injustice and to cause, as she puts it, “a great Cultural Reset.”

As a director, Rose McGowan made a much lauded short film called “Dawn” which was nominated for the Sundance Grand Jury Prize and saw a theatrical release through Sundance Cinemas. As an author, she went on a three-year self-reflective journey to write her NY Times Bestseller, “Brave”. As a writer she explores her personal story, thoughts on society and shines a light on the illusion of fame and how it can be toxic for those watching.

As an activist, she led a movement to break the silence and became a leading voice in the fight to disrupt the status quo. By creating the social justice platform for a Cultural Reset #ROSEARMY, she has signaled to the world that it is time to think differently and be better. Rose was also one of Time Magazine’s Persons of the Year.

In reflecting on her own distress growing up, Rose revisited a place she would escape to in her mind as a child. A place to feel safe. Using her knowledge of cinema sound design, she teamed up with French electronic musicians and created her debut album, Planet 9. Carefully crafting the sounds and words for a better place, an unknown world that all can travel to. to.

In a global state of uncertainty Rose has created ‘a prescription for healing’ which many are calling ‘Mind Medicine.’

As a public speaker Rose McGowan has addressed audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Whether it be a group of students at Stanford University, a large collective of authors and artists in the UK, or business professionals in South Korea, Rose has a consistent message of hope and empowerment. By unwiring traditional thought structures, she believes we can free ourselves of fear by learning how to braver in our own lives.
