Renaud Dély headed the political department at the Liberation France Newspaper from 2002-2006, and became editor, columnist and finally chief editor of Libération until September 2007. He then became Associate Chief Political editor until January 2008.
Dély joined the weekly Marianne, as deputy director of the editorial in charge of the news (France World) until March 2010 from there he joined the writing team of the online news site, France Inter. Since March 2011, he has worked at the weekly Le Nouvel Observateur where he later became editor.
He has authored and co-authored nine books and regularly speaks about politics on French Television.
In September 2012 he joined the show “28 minutes”, which he participates in every Thursday and Friday, as a co-interviewer alongside presenters Elisabeth Quin and Nadia Daam.
He has been editor of Marianne since June 2016, following a stint as editor of the Obs from 2011 to 2016.
