Nina Schick is an author, business advisor and keynote speaker specializing in the ‘Age of AI’ – an era in which technology will change the framework of society.
Nina is an expert in geopolitics; artificial intelligence; synthetic media and deepfakes. She helps organisations understand and navigate the risks and opportunities presented by the volatile and rapidly transforming global outlook.
She advises several cutting-edge AI and technology companies, including Truepic — the first company to build media authentication technology; as well as Synthesia — the world’s first AI video-generation platform.
Nina has worked with global leaders including Joe Biden, the President of the United States; Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the former Secretary General of NATO and Emmanuel Macron, President of France. She has worked on global crises including the Russia-Ukraine war; Brexit; election interference; and information operations during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Her debut book, ‘Deepfakes,’ was released in 2020, and has been translated into five languages, including Japanese, German and Mandarin. In it, she describes how AI will shift the paradigm of human communication, predicting that over 90% of online video content will be generated by AI by 2030.
Nina has been published by WIRED, the MIT Tech Review, The Times, and TIME amongst others. She is a regular commentator on international broadcast channels including the BBC, Sky News, Bloomberg and CNBC. She has appeared on stages including TedX, CogX and WebSummit.
Nina Schick speaks seven languages including German, Spanish and French. She holds degrees from Cambridge University and University College London.
