A 25-year media and fashion veteran who pivoted her career into climate-focused innovation and tech for apparel and textiles. As well as board advisory roles ( technology, charitable and NGO’s), she also partakes in public speaking engagements; as a moderator, panellist and keynote speaker.
This magnetic polymath has a red thread of disruption weaving throughout her career, spanning publications in every continent: 51 titles worldwide, published in Russian, Japanese and Turkish, working alongside household name legacy media to global digital giants. In addition to llaunching the first Vogue in a Muslim country, she dressed multiple iconic A-list film stars for global campaigns such as Star Wars, plus The Oscars and BAFTAs. Notably, she created the first truly sustainable looks for Oscar winner Olivia Colman.
Using ardent expertise in consumer behaviour and fashion, Mary founded ‘GreenWith Studio’ in 2021, a sustainable innovation consultancy and top-scoring BCorp, focusing on future-proofing medium-sized retail and fashion businesses in the $2trn fashion sector. In 2022, she authored the British Fashion Council’s seminal 35,000-word white paper examining technology’s role in circular economies.
Simultaneously, Mary has carved a pathway as a conduit for female leadership and empowerment. Her work has been covered in household name media (NYTimes, Daily Mail, FT, Telegraph, Vogue), and her influence and voice, firmly pro-business and profit, have stood as one among many other fashion experts and campaigners to sculpt the sustainability market.
Youth empowerment and next-gen consumer trends also feature: Greenwith Studio is developing a disruptive AI tool and software platform to both inform and shape millennial and Gen Z consumer behaviour for sustainable retail and lifestyles, partnering with Kings College Business School and Goldsmiths University.
