Mansoor Al Awar – Keynote Speaker

Dr. Mansoor Al Awar is the Chancellor of Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University.

Al Awar was the founder of the first TQM Department Dubai Police Force. He is also the founder of Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University which was known as e-TQM College since its inception in 2002 and then Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University since 2009.

In 2004, for the first time in the history of the region, he established the Juran Chair at Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University. He also established the Middle East e-Learning Association (MEEA) in 2011.

Al Awar has received a number of awards and accolades, most notably the Middle East CEO of the Year Award (2011) for his efforts to promote the knowledge economy and IT

Al Awar has published several books on management and quality, including The Road to “My Vision,” Practical Steps for Achieving “My Vision” in Education, Leadership and Excellence; and the “Facilitating Knowledge” series of publications Institutional Loyalty and Effective Performance; Good Governance between Fairness and Transparency; Managing Knowledge and Performance Effectiveness; and Innovation Management.
