Malene Rydahl is Senior Advisor at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) specialized in well-being and performance. She works with major French and multinational corporations as a consultant and keynote speaker and is a frequent speaker at international institutions and elite schools such as the OECD, ENA and INSEAD. She is also a lecturer at the prestigious French business school HEC Executive Education and Sciences Po Paris in well-being and performance.
Certified as an executive coach from Manning Inspire, a renowned school of coaching in Copenhagen, Malene Rydahl offers individual and collective programs of executive coaching for CEOs and managers who wish to improve the engagement, well-being and performance of their employees and, indeed, themselves.
She has 18 years of experience in the corporate world. Most recently, as Director of Corporate Communication for Hyatt Hotels & Resorts in EMEA overlooking 42 hotels, which led to her being elected one of the “24 women of the year” by the French magazine L’Express. She was part of the advisory committee for the creation of Positive Economy Forum, an initiative under the sponsorship of the French President. She is also the co-founder of the healthy fast food brand 42° Raw, one of the first plant based concepts to open up in Europe.
Author of the best-selling “Happy as a Dane”, published worldwide in more than 12 languages, Malene Rydahl was awarded the prize of the most optimistic book of 2014. She explains why the Danish people are some of the happiest in the world, which led her to explore how the leadership style in any business directly impacts well-being, performance and trust amongst the entire organization.
Her second book “Le Bonheur sans illusions” published in 2017 explores how we might better avoid disillusionment and find our own true path to happiness. Her latest book “Je te réponds…moi non plus” published in 2020 exposes the increasing challenges of communicating in the digital era.
Malene Rydahl has a degree in international business strategy from the Niels Brock Business School of Copenhagen. In 2018, she was awarded the medal of Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, an honor given by the French state. She also holds the honorary title of Goodwill Ambassador to Copenhagen.
Malene Rydahl was born in Denmark and has lived in Paris for more than 25 years.
