Biography

As an event facilitator, Luisa Baldini brings professionalism, warmth and an ability to connect with your audience. She also brings an international dynamic due to her varied background: born and brought up in Africa, having lived in Europe and the USA and being half British, half Italian. Luisa is a ‘people person’ and will make time to engage with participants at your event.

Luisa Baldini speaks Italian and French and can get by in Spanish. Luisa Baldini became a recognisable face and name on BBC News due to her confidence, poise and ability to simplify complex stories. This led to her reporting on high-profile, global news stories such as the Amanda Knox trials in Italy, Papal events at the Vatican City and the 7/7 bombings in London. Her assignments as Deputy Royal Correspondent included the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, The Duchess of Cambridge’s first solo Royal engagements and the birth of Prince George.

Luisa Baldini left the BBC in 2014 for a family move to New York. It was there she co-launched a training business, Composure Media. Prior to the BBC, Luisa worked at ITN for both ITV and Channel 5 News and previously lived in Lyon, France working for EuroNews.
