Biography

Karine Baillet became a world vi-champion twice, in 2006 and 2007. She holds the women’s record for crossing the Channel in four different transportation methods: wakeboard, funboard, kayak et catamaran. She also participated at l’Enduropale du Touquet in motorcycle and quad. She was the first women to cross the Channel roundtrip from France to England on a windsurf with rough tides and wind in 2007. She became vice champion of the world of raids at the World Championship in 2006 in Quebec, and vice champion of the world in 2007 at Scotland.

In 2002, her team VSD Eider got their victory in the world’s most difficult raid: The Gouloises at Vietnam. The official World Championship, which lasted 6 days, 19 hours, 14 min, 1000 km.
Among her victories there is the Adventure Reunion raid (2004), the 5th raid X-series in the U.S, the 8th raid X-series France/Italy, the 5th X-series Australia, raid Adventure reunion (2005), raid Oman adventure (2006), 2nd raid international Ecomotion in Brazil (October 2007), first edition of the raid Canéo in 2008, the Spanish raid: la Bimbache (2008), women’s 3rd place at the Marathon des Sables (2012).

In 2001 she created the raid Touquet de Calais, the most important multisport raid in France. In 2008 Karine was elected president of the national group of raids founded in 2008. The following year, she became the first women pilot to participate on her own at the Enduro du Touquet, the 21 and 22 February 2009.

Today Karine Baillet shares her knowledge and transmits her experience to the business world. Karine is a multisport raid coach, as well as a teamwork coach for businesses.
