Award-winning presenter and investigative journalist with over 15 years of experience, Frankie McCamley hosts national and international news for the BBC on television, radio and digital platforms. She’s known for covering some of the biggest breaking moments in global history, whilst hosting high-profile events, red carpets and moderating debates.
Frankie McCamley is currently a BBC presenter hosting a range of programs from political debates to flagship news programs and live breaking news. She has also developed and fronted BBC One documentaries including Sarah Everard: The Search for Justice, Panorama programs and global investigations.
As a live news presenter and political debate host Frankie can turn her hand to any topic, working off script whilst holding politicians and decision makers to account. She often appears on the BBC News Channel, BBC World News, BBC London, BBC Radio 2, 4 and 5 Live.
Frankie is frequently at the forefront of the news agenda which has led to interviews with prime ministers, high profile politicians and global leaders on location and in the studio. She has covered numerous general and international elections, travelling across Europe, the US and Asia.
As the BBC’s former Education correspondent Frankie McCamley has specialist knowledge in the field. She has worked alongside many institutions hosting and moderating events in the sector whilst offering expert insight and analysis. Frankie has also presented forward thinking podcasts focusing on global education and policy changes.
Frankie is often seen presenting BBC London news flagship program, leading topical conversations in the capital and interviewing guests in the BBC’s state of the art studio. She also presented BBC Three’s 60 seconds on BBC One during prime-time entertainment programs, which gave her the edge when delivering the lighter side to news.
Before working in television Frankie presented BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat delivering engaging content to younger audiences. This youth focus included topics such as new technology, environmental issues and youth health.
