Biography

Capucine Graby began her journalism career during an internship at the news agency Bloomberg. She holds a Master of Business and Administration from Paris Dauphine University as well as a degree in Management Telecommunications and New Media.

In 1999, she moved to Asia and became a correspondent for The Tribune and The Cross in Seoul, South Korea. In 2000 she joined BFM radio in Paris. Between January and April 2002, she created a photo/image book about Togo, Burkina Faso and Mali called ‘Expressions of Africa’, which was published by Éditions Nathan. Capucine Graby directed her first documentary, ‘The Market of Innocence’ reflecting the slavery of Malian children enrolled in cocoa plantations in the Ivory Coast.

Upon her return from her travels she freelanced for Le Nouvel Observateur, Le Point, Le Figaro and Strategies magazine. In 2005, she joined the editorial staff of the Senate Public and since January 2006 has run a monthly issue, Lyrics sciences, in partnership with the Science & Future magazine. In April 2007, she published her second book, Le Sexe fort.

Since then Capucine Graby has hosted daily French news. Capucine has worked on various documentaries in collaboration with Story Box Press Production. “Holidays: behind the postcard” which was released in June 2012 on Canal. In October 2012 she published ‘Quantities and Miseries of the Net Stars’ with Marc Simoncini.
