Bhawani Singh Shekhawat – Keynote Speaker

Bhawani Singh Shekhawat is an experienced management leader with over 20 years of experience working in senior positions with top F-500 companies in Asia, Middle East, Africa, North America and Europe He is currently the CEO of The Akshaya Patra Foundation in Europe, the world’s largest and perhaps most celebrated school meals programme. Currently serving over 1.6 million children every day, amounting to over 2 billion meals.

Prior to leading Akshaya Patra in Europe, Shekhawat held senior General Management positions with Nielsen in Emerging Markets and also led the consumer business in Central, South and Western Europe. Subsequently, he led the Global Marketing Science / Best Practices for Reckitt Benckiser and the Strategy Planning function at Coca Cola. During his time with these companies he was responsible for strategic initiatives including M&A and legacy planning. He led large, multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams successfully towards new growth horizons.

Shekhawat is passionate about people, growth via innovation and the challenges that leadership brings to any given situation. He divides his time between teaching at leading business schools and advising and mentoring business leaders and entrepreneurs.

He currently serves on the Advisory Board of Adhyayan Asia and HaikuJam (UK) where he consults and advises the Corporate Board of Directors of these companies. He is associated with Erehwon Consulting where he helps business and leadership realise and unlock their Orbit Shifting potential.

Bhawani Singh Shekhawat has a BA Hons. in Economics and a Masters from the Bombay School of Economics.
